The Mission

To be a development community-based organization that fosters unity, love, prosperity and continuity.

Who We Are and What We Do

AGAFFA E ZANA Community Based Organization (AZACO) was started in the year 2019.
The organization has been involved in various activities, including;-
– Farming activities, i.e., goat rearing, Horticulture and poultry rearing.
– Environmental issues, i.e., tree planting and soil erosion conservation.
– Care and support to the affected and infected persons with HIV/AIDS.
– Helping orphans, disabled, widows, widowers and people living with HIV/AIDS.
– Giving support to those who are pursuing their education.
– Health promotion activities.
– Renting out tents and chairs at a price.

Through dedicated efforts in farming, healthcare, and education, Agaffaezana has uplifted families and empowered individuals, enabling them to build better futures while fostering a culture of sustainability and support within the community.

To have a community with social and economic strength to better their health and living standard.

The Motto and Acknowledgement

AZACO, a community-based organization, is an outfit of all members of the AZACO community who have agreed to come together for the sake of unity and development. The organization has an impeccable motto, “TOGETHER WE CAN.”
It consists of both genders (male and female) and age diversity (the young, middle-age and old.)
We, the people of the AZACO community, ACKNOWLEDGE the supremacy of the Almighty God of all creation.
PROUD of unity, culture, love and above all the fact that we live in peace as one indivisible sovereign community, committed to nurturing and protecting the well-being of the individuals, the family, and the community for the sake of prosperity and community.
Currently the organization has 12 officials and 90 members, but the number of members continuously increases.
The organization has been in existence for this long due to the prevailing constitution and the hard work of all members and its officials.
The organization is further divided into six different subcommittees.

The Core Objectives

1. To bring together all members who were born/grew up in Zana and its neighborhoods in the “early years “as specified by Organisation founders
2. To empower youth, women and people with disabilities economically.
3. To create income generating activities within our organization to promote the members livelihood as well as the community at large.
4. To co-operate and assist projects, undertake capital investment programs.
5. To organize and carry out charity work on the less fortunate people in our communities.
6. To accelerate the protection of the environment, and increase agriculture productivity, therefore fighting famine and hunger
7. To educate the community on social economic and life skills activities.
8. To carry out income generating projects for the members.
